Salam & hello to all my dearest reader, based on my blog stats, i found an individual who come into my blog with the keyword terms “why people blogging?” and i would like to share my personal point of view regarding to this matter.

I have 10 reason why people do blog

1. Personal - you know diary? ok nowdays people use blog as their online diary. This type of blogger does not really care who their visitor and what so ever because they enjoy their own writing, cam whoring and all personal related issues.

2. Hobby - why people spend a lot of money to buy a remote control airplane? is it worth? same answer when you ask why people spend a money to buy hosting and domain name then suddenly write about a kitten. its a hobby, so what?

3. Career - many blogger become full timer in blogging because they think this is their career. Why? writing a blog doesnt need any certificates, certain qualification and what so ever. All you need a brilliant brain, computer and internet connection. Thats all and dont be surprise if you ask some blogger about their monthly income figure.

4. Charity - people blog for charity, internet would be a platform in other to spread the words. So you can update the latest news about the foundation, why you need help, some information about the background and etc. In other words, the network in the internet are very broad why not you give some expose about your project right?

5. Community - have you joined any online community site like forum? Then maybe you need some info about the next events, members update and so on. So they will blog about it and you can get any information you want if they provide it such as gathering update, photo gallery, exchange mp3, support and etc.

6. Side income - nowdays many people realize that they can make money from blog, they just blog anything that they love and they will get paid later, interesting huh? However, sometimes we are tricked by greedy people so beware guys!

7. Spread the news - I dont know why but search engine do love a lot with blog, so if your blog serve fresh content it will easily to get indexed by the engine. And people love to give a response and blog is the best way to give their opinion, so do blog about any current issues and you will get the buzz.

8. Provoke - i think blog about political related issues very suitable for this category because they want to provoke anything that they want. Sometimes they are right and most of the time they are wrong, maybe. I dont know much about the politic site however if you want to get a long comment, try blog about politic issues and you will know it.

9. Sabotage - you want to sabotage somebody that you hate very much? simply register a new blog then write anything about him/her in negative ways. It will be great if you put a collection a photos, video and so on. (its a bonus if you have their dirty little secret documents)

10. Report activity - finally if you do something that important to your society, country and what so ever. You need to record and give a report right? In example you want to make a record in taking picture of all Petronas petrol station in Malaysia. So you need to give a current activities if somebody want to know what you are doing right now they just go to your dot com blog.
