looks like thrs a very obvious line in the middle. yes i know its part of the design but mayb u should make the middle lines tilted a bit

but for me, a photoshop freak, i think u should make more layer.
it seems like you just using somthing like 3-4 layers only.
to make a good design, u need to use more layer, go tweaking the blending mode, play eith the filter and adjusments.

its not about layer or anything.. he is just lazy to use them.. he is just simple-minded Photoshop user..
