Free download web 2.0 font
Salam & hello to all my dearest reader, recently i got a lot of traffic from my entry about my top 5 font directories, sometime that entry appear in first or second page in google search result for certain keyword, is it a good sign? Aren’t these fonts copyrighted? How are you offering them for free? Just curious. I would love to download them, but don’t want to own pirated fonts.

Just because the website is offering them for download, don’t mean it is legal to do so.

Actually, fonts are copyrighted. Without permission from the owner of the copyright, sharing and use of these fonts is illegal.
When you download a font, the vast majority (and this includes those on this list) you are receiving a license to use them. Rarely, and never to my knowledge on professionally designed fonts, does this include permission to alter or share them in any way. This includes any fonts that come bundled with software like MSOffice, or the Adobe CS programs.
What’s being done here is illegal and highly unethical. If I was the owner of the copyright for any of these fonts, I would most certainly be royally pissed and would be charging the distributor and anyone downloading to the full extent allowed by copyright law.

These in particular I know to be copyrighted and need to be purchased in order to receive a license to legally use them, and are not intended to be shared like this. I believe the Bell Gothic, Trade Gothic, Frutigers, and Frankfurters are also in this category.
Myriad Pro, I believe, is bundled with one software or another, and is also not licensed for free sharing.
The rest I’m not certain about off the top of my head, but odds are that they are mostly if not all also copyrighted and not intended to be ‘freeware’.
I would very much like to get your font bundle. I live on a fixed income love to play with page design for fun and free.

Deleting this post is the best thing to do. Otherwise, idiots like karen, lisboa, Foo, and Matt Wilko will keep trying to get things for free, and end up getting sued.
A lot of work goes into designing a good typeface. In some cases it can take several years before a family is ready to be released. That’s why there are prices for typefaces, like any other product. There are places to get free fonts, and most of them are of low quality. There’s a movement among professional designers to give away better fonts, but not these ones.
If I was the designer of any of these, I would treat all of you like the stupid little thieves that you are.
