Salam & hello to all my dearest reader, just now khairilhusni asked me about how to grant access for his wordpress .htaccess file. Ok according to webopedia, CHMOD is short for change mode, a UNIX command that changes the access permissions of files or directories in order to read, write or execute files. Ok let me show you in graphicIm using smart ftp for upload files into my webhost. As far as i know, any ftp client have this chmod feature.

Once you logged in, get the file you want to change mode then right click. Find properties or CHMOD and click on it.

Then, change file permission by set the number to 666 or 777 or 676 or 776. Tick and untick the particular. Click ok and finally your file permission changed. :D
