Firstly you need to create 16 x 16 pixels of image whether static or animated image its up to you (oh you can use this fav ico generator too!) or how about this favicon gallery. After that, upload your image at your hosting or you can use free image hosting.
Copy and paste this code at your blog header. After the </title> tag.

<link rel=”icon” href=”direct link of your icon here” type=”image/gif” />
Then save and refresh your blog. You want some inspiration? Check this 50 remarkable fav.ico by smashing magazines.
