Salam & hello to all my dearest reader, this morning i stumble upon one blog that attached a few photo of the elegant black Proton Perdana Replacement Model. Rumors said this car was designed and engineered based on Volkswagon Passat technology. Check it out.
Front view : any similarity with Nissan Sentra model?
Side view : wow, its a Mercedes Benz shape. Rims play an important role right?

Dear all, and Mr.Syamsul Ariff.
This car is not engineered based on VW Passat. This ‘Perdana Replacement’ is a REBADGED Mitsubishi Galant 380 which is currently sold in Australia. As a matter of fact, even the rims and bumper are the exact same as the Mitsubishi Galant. So looks like we are going back to the good old days of Mitsubishi Protons.

design die agak ketinggalan zaman sikit..mcm bentuk kereta kia optima baru…..x lawa sangatlahh..better lg design perdana lama…pastu kalu proton keluarkan 2.4l utk model ni pasti harga die between 100-130,000….pastu kalu murah pun x gune sbb bank kenakan interest tinggi..kalu x silap skang dah jadi 3.99%..tapi dgr citer pulak lepas nih harga kete dah nak naik…haii..lebih baik simpan duit sikit dan pas2 beli kete import lagi baik mcm honda atau toyota ke dari beli perdana baru ni kalu hg die sama cam kete import….ini cume pendapat peribadi sayalakan..

ish!!x lawa la designnye..lagi lawa proton saga.mcm kete zaman kuno jer.lain kali buat la design yg lebih eklusif dan elegan.bukan nak mengutuk kereta buatan negara sendiri….tapi cuba buat rekaan yg dpt menarik semua rakyat malaysia dan luar malaysia.cuba tingkatkan designnye dan kualitinye.semoga berjaya proton.
i read somewhere that the original plant of this new perdana is mitsubishi australia (that brought to the world MMC) and currently head mitsubishi in japan is closing the mitsubishi plant in australia (read from australian car news) and proton is interested in this galant 380 and thinking of a rebadge but the deal don’t close because it’s mitsubishi is selling it too expensive to proton and i think the car is just sitting there in their archives to rot and rust.. I would really want to drive one of those though..

Tell me that is NOT a proton perdana. I support the national car early from the start, although I never bought them. All the ups and downs in proton, is pretty basically normal for a rookie country like us.
But please, dont make a perdana anything like that at all. It looks so much alike other car designs in the market. It looks fugly, lack of x-factor and above all, absolutely not pleasing to the eye. No where near discreet. Proton guys must’ve work this out by now. Personally, this car may be discreet in the ole’ 1990s. You can get bored of the looks the next day when you bought it because the design is dull.

why proton are doing this? why to keep copying mitsubishi’s models? why do you own lotus for? why dont you use it? the original mitsubishi was a FAIL so stop behaving like the soviet union, try to make something good , look how fast the chinese louzy cras becoming better rapidly, and this way it will stay a local company cuz you cant sell mitsubishi copies worldwide!!
