substitute Ekiga with Twinkle.

Twinkle is the only KDE application I use on my mostly gnome (well I use firefox, eclipse and ooffice) desktop.

Ekiga is unfortunately an unusable bullshit compared to twinkle (which itself without ability to work on-line with LDAP conntacts is far from perfect).

But twinkle unlike ekiga, which (at least at ubuntu) hangs and/or lags all the time, makes it possible not to have a table IP telephone.

I used ubuntu and xp on dual boot before. for free time with no work i use ubuntu but if they are work to do, i need to use xp, because i get used with application for windows.

need more time to learn and understand ubuntu thought. like im born with XP, so bila pakai sesuatu yang lain tu macam culture shock. sampai meleleh air liur tengok ubuntu yang ringan dan canggih in its own way

yey to ubuntu! teringat nak beli 2nd hand notebook nak install ubuntu..

we can run gtk software on KDE Desktop Environment and run KDE Apps on GNOME desktop,

ehm..elvinado is right too..its actually not really only for ubuntu..but i dont think is about kde or gnome..coz i think pidgin can be available in kde too..what i know is, ubuntu is the popular and most user-friendly linux OS at the moment. that’s why the author comes out with this comparison..

Mmmm nice a simple comparison windows with ubuntu. Made people easy to go looking for software. But may I say something. It may mislead people that the softwares are exclusively for Ubuntu. There are more to Desktop environment dependent like Gnome(gtk+) and Kde(qt).Mmmm or am I wrong? Because
