Asking Alexandria cancels remaining US shows

Asking Alexandria has canceled its final US tour dates with Nothing More due to frontman Danny Worsnop’s vocal health.

After missing several gigs this week due to a throat infection, the band were forced to scrap the rest of the tour, which kicked off last month.

“We had to miss the last shows of our tour because Danny suffered from a serious throat infection. Today we all woke up early in anticipation of hearing from a voice specialist,” said the band said in a statement “Unfortunately the news we received was not the news we had hoped for and we have been told that Danny is unable to sing for the next few weeks and must remain on vocal rest.”

They added: “Obviously this means we will not be able to continue our North American tour and it breaks our hearts to have to say this. While Danny recovers, we will work diligently to book a new tour so we can return. there and see you all again. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us.”

The rest of the tour will continue with Nothing More, Atreyu and Eva Under Fire.
