Let Creeper surprise us in the most fantastic way. The group surprised the release of their new single “Ghost Brigade”, the official kickoff of their next era.
“Ghost Brigade” feels like the band is going back to their punk rock roots. They leave behind the Britpop of Sex, Death and The Infinite Void, and return to high-energy guitars, infectious hooks and, of course, big melodramatic doo-wop inspired vocals. It’s classic Creeper all the way and you can’t get enough of it.
The band revealed the news during their gig tonight at the Roundhouse in Camden. In true Creeper fashion, the announcement was preceded by frontman Will Gould as Roe from Sex, Death and the Infinite Voidbeing beheaded by a vampire.
After the bloody event, a video is released in which a vampire familiar reveals that the band has signed with Spinefarm Records. She also reveals the release of the new song. The group also updated its logo on its social media to officially launch the new era. This is Creeper encounter What we do in the shadows and we are here for that!
Listen to “Ghost Brigade” below.
With the new label and the new song, it’s only a matter of time before we hear about a new album. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.
