Microsoft: Microsoft announces new features for Windows 11 with latest preview build

Microsoft plans to reintroduce a feature for File Explorer on Windows 11 it will help users to switch between different windows. The tech giant has decided to bring browser-like tabbed browsing back to Windows 11. Microsoft recently updated its blog post announcing the release of Windows 11 Insider Building overview 25136 at the Development Channel. Along with offering several fixes, the latest preview release also introduces new features.
File Explorer Tabbed View Feature
According to Microsoft, File Explorer tabs and navigation updates have started rolling out to Windows Insiders. The blog post clarifies that this new feature will help users switch between tabs without opening multiple new windows each time they access a new folder. Along with the File Explorers tabbed view, Microsoft is also adding more dynamic widgets to the Windows 11 taskbar.
Dynamic widget
This new update will allow users to customize the taskbar present at the bottom of the screen according to their preferences. Currently, users can find live content from the weather widget, but this new feature will add live sporting event and stock market updates, as well as news alerts.
Availability of the new preview version of Windows 11
The company is rolling out this new version in a phased manner so that not everyone gets them right away. Microsoft is testing these features with a few users first and will move to a wider rollout once it gets relevant feedback. Moreover, the company even warns that these updates are available under the Dev Channel of the Windows 11 Insider program. So, these new features may be buggy and may even compromise the stability of your device.
