When Twitter Blue was rolled out in Australia and Canada in June, followers got access to exclusive features for the equivalent of $ 3 per month. Now those subscribers have early access to experimental features in the new Twitter Labs, the company said in a Twitter thread and blog post on Wednesday.
Labs currently allows users to pin conversations to the top of their direct messages and upload videos up to 10 minutes long, although what is available is changing.
“Labs functionality changes over time and may become available to all Twitter accounts, be removed, or only published to Twitter Blue followers,” according to a blog post on Twitter.
Twitter Blue followers can already organize their favorites into folders and turn discussion threads into easy-to-read text in reader mode. They can also use a tweet cancel button, which gives them 30 seconds to review a tweet before it is posted. This is a feature that some Twitter users have long wanted.
While more features are yet to be announced, there will be more. “We’ll keep you posted as we build, so check back often,” Blue said in a commentary. Tweeter announcing Labs.
Labs Adds Another Draw To The Subscription Service, Which Could Become A. Twitter did not disclose a timeline for Twitter Blue’s rollout beyond Australia and Canada.
