In early December, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform was presented and Qualcomm, in its usual way, paid a lot of attention to the performance boost. But if the chipmaker is thrilled, then experts and users are alarmed. The main cause of anxiety is the tendency to overheat. Judging by the information that appears on the network, their fears are not without merit.
Vivo unveils the features of the upcoming iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro
By taking the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 out of the oven, the chipmaker has added a headache for manufacturers who are now forced to look for ways to cool the hot temper of the new platform. The most common way is to install a cooling system. IQOO will do that too. On January 5, the company launched the first of the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro; where the latter are expected to offer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Today the company confirmed its presence in the smartphone, as well as in LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 RAM drives.
And also a cooling system was shown; which will receive an evaporation chamber and it will evacuate the heat on a surface of 3926 mm². The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are rumored to receive a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,650mAh battery, and a built-in fingerprint reader.
The basic version of the smartphone will offer a triple camera 50 Mp (Samsung GN5) + 13 Mp (wide) + 12 Mp (telephoto). The smartphone will also sport three lenses, the main one also having a resolution of 50 megapixels; but it was complemented by a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens.
